Yes, Xiaomi has today launched a new fitness band Smart Band Pro with new smartphones and smart TVs in India under the Redmi brand. With this, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has also debuted in the wearable segment. The Redmi Smart Band Pro price in India is Rs 3,999 and the company is selling it for just Rs 3,499 as part of the Limited Period Launch Sale. The fitness tracker will be available for sale on February 14 at 12 noon. Interested customers will be able to buy it from the company's website, Mi Home, Amazon and offline retail stores. The Redmi Smart Band Pro is equipped with a 1.47-inch (194×368 pixels) Always-on AMOLED touch display with a pixel density of 282ppi, 8-bit color depth and 100 percent NTSC color gamut coverage. The fitness tracker is equipped with Apollo 3.5 processor and is powered by a 200mAh battery, which is said to offer 14 days of battery backup. 

However, thanks to the power saving mode, it can be used for about 20 days. The Redmi Smart Band Pro features the LifeQ health tracking algorithm and a PPG heart-rate sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a six-axis sensor. The fitness tracker comes with support for Bluetooth v5.0 and is waterproof up to 5ATM (50 meters), according to the company. 

Users can connect a smartphone running iOS 10 or Android 6 (Marshmallow) and a device running the latest OS to the Redmi Smart Band Pro. The fitness tracker has over 110 workout modes, and comes with support for SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. 

According to the company, users will be able to track multiple workouts including running, walking, Zumba, Pilates, yoga, cycling, HIIT, jumping rope, as well as elliptical machine and rowing machine workouts. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will be able to automatically detect outdoor walking, outdoor running and treadmill workouts. With the Redmi Wearable, users will also be able to track menstrual cycles, do breathing exercises and monitor stress levels.
